When's the flood?

This morning, as I went to roll up my long jeans (purchased from Long Legs of course), trying to save them from the pouring rain outside, I was inspired for my newest blog!

Flood pants!

Working in the Long Legs store, I have heard endless stories from women who grew up with the struggle of not being able to find clothes that fit their taller frames. From undoing the hems on pants to buying men’s clothing, I am curious!

I want to hear all your stories about growing up tall and your clothing life prior to finding a store like Long Legs to help capture the essence of tall beauty and style.

Summer is still here...

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, summer has finally arrived. If you are enjoying everything that summer has to offer, I strongly recommend not going into a mall. It has become a depressing scene in malls lately with the fall (YES FALL, its July!) clothing making its way to the front displays. I have begun taking pity on the summer clothes pushed slowly into the back sale corner, so this post is dedicated to them.

I am interested to know what your favourite summer trend has been thus far.

I’ll start! My favourite summer “must have” is my slub cardigan. It is lightweight and super comfortable! It covers everything it needs to and is the perfect cover up for those chilly mornings that are destined to be afternoon scorchers!

I recently came across a website that is the ultimate answer to every woman’s prayers. It’s called Chick Advisor, and let me tell you, you cannot find a more informative website out there! They call themselves “a social media platform for women with user-generated reviews on the best products and local services in North America.”

They offer you the ability to get firsthand knowledge on just about anything from beauty tips and new makeup, to restaurant reviews and club openings. With the review section you can read all about other women’s experiences and happiness (or disappointments) with just about anything under the sun!

Their goal is to help women make better purchasing decisions by getting advice first on a wide range of topics from electronics to electrolysis. Their members determine the hottest trends, the best local services, and the coolest products, and they deliver the location and purchase information to make getting what you want faster and more affordable.

This website should definitely be up there on the daily internet “check “ list, with Facebook and Twitter!
